Urgent appeal to find boy, 14, who went missing on trip to People's History Museum in Manchester

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a boy who went missing whilst on a trip to the People's History Museum in Manchester city centre. Samuel, aged 14, was last seen at around 11am on Thursday morning (January 5) at nearby Gartside Street.

Officers have said they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for the welfare of Samuel and are appealing for information to help trace him.

He is described as being 5ft 7ins tall, with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark coloured raincoat, black workwear boots and green cargo type pants.

A post shared by Greater Manchester Police said: "Can you help find Samuel from #Manchester? Samuel was last seen on Gartside Street at 11am on Thursday 5 January 2023.

The teenager had been out on a trip to the People's History Museum (Alex Hibbert)

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about him and want to make sure he is found safe and well."

Anyone with any information about Samuel's whereabouts are being urged to contact Greater Manchester Police, calling 101 quoting log 1299 of 05/01/2023.
