Urgent appeal to find 10-year-old Alie Gassama missing from Cathcart home

A search has been launched  by police to find a missing 10-year-old boy from Cathcart .

Alie Gassama, who lives at Holmlea Court, has been missing since after school hours on Friday, May 17.

He is described as black, around 5ft in height and of a slim build with short black hair.  When he was last seen he was wearing a grey school uniform, however he may have changed into a Liverpool football strip.

Alie is know to visit the football pitches and Asda at Toryglen regularly.

Detectives are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Inspector Kevin Miller from Helen Street Police Station said:  "Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries to trace Alie since he was reported missing last night. Alie regularly visits Asda at Toryglen and the football pitches at Toryglen.

"Anyone who has seen Alie or who has any information on his whereabouts should contact Cathcart Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 5382 of 17 May 2019."
