Urgent appeal in search for missing girl last seen three days ago at tram stop

Police have issued an appeal for help finding a girl who has been missing for almost three days.

The girl, named only as Haniyah, was last seen at Oldham Central Metrolink stop at about 8pm on Friday (December 16).

Officers say they want to make sure that Haniyah, from Rochdale, is safe and well.

When last seen, she was said to be wearing a black dress, boots, coat and a baseball cap.

Two images of Haniyah have been shared by Greater Manchester Police as they appeal for the public's help in tracing her.

In a post on its social media channels, the force said: "Can you help us find Haniyah from #Rochdale?

"She was last seen at #Oldham Central Tram Stop at around 8pm on Friday 16 December wearing an all black dress, boots, coat and baseball cap.

"Officers want to make sure she is safe and well."

Anyone with information about Haniyah's whereabouts is asked to call GMP on 0161 856 8680, 101 or 999.
