Urgent appeal for missing Paisley girl as ‘concerns grow’ for her welfare

Police have launched an urgent public appeal to trace a missing 14-year-old girl in Paisley as concerns grow for her welfare.

Laura Walker was last seen around 2pm on Thursday in the Shortroods area of the Renfrewshire town.

Police said there are “growing concerns for her welfare.”

Laura is described as white, 4ft 11ins tall with long fair or blonde hair, green eyes and of a slim build.

When last seen she was wearing a black north face jacket, black leggings and white Nike trainers.

Laura also has links to the Aberdeen area, where she may have travelled by train.

Anyone who may have seen Laura since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, should contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1828 of 18 November 2021.
