Bristol teenager found safe and well after search

UPDATE: Xue has now been found safe and well. A University of Bristol spokesperson said: "We're very happy to say that Xue Lin has been found safe and well.

Police issued an urgent appeal across Bristol to find a teenage girl who has gone missing from hospital in the city.

Xue Lin, 18, was last seen at the Bristol Royal Infirmary at around 6pm on Thursday this week, February 11, and has not been seen since.

Officers are urging anyone who sees her to call 999 straight away and report the sighting.

Police said she was wearing black jeans, a black fleece and white trainers.

“She’s about 5ft tall, medium build with long dark hair, and has links with Clifton,” a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset police said.

“If you see her, call 999 with the reference number 5221031414,” he added.
