Urgent appeal for info on missing Scots man not seen for a week

A missing Scots man has not been seen for a week, as police urgently appeal for information.

Mark Russell was last spotted on Sunday, July 25, in the Crimond area of Aberdeenshire.

He has not been sighted since then, leading to a frantic search for him.

Mark is described as being about 5ft 11ins tall, of medium build with short brown hair.

He has connections to Peterhead and Fraserburgh, along with Crimond.

Officers have appealed for Mark to get in touch with his family or the police to let them know he is fine.

Inspector Susan Taylor, of Banchory Police Station, said: “Some time has now passed since the last sighting of Mark.

"I would appeal to Mark to get in touch with his family or the police, and I would also urge anyone who thinks they may have seen Mark or knows of his whereabouts to get in contact.”

Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1960 of 28 July.
