'Urgent' appeal for help to find missing young man with 'poor mental health'

UPDATE: South Wales Police confirmed on Wednesday that Mr Self has been found safe.

There are serious concerns for the safety of a man from Pembrokeshire who has gone missing from his home.

An 'urgent' appeal has been issued for help in finding Maximillian Self, who is 27 and has been missing since Sunday afternoon.

Police said he “suffers with poor mental health” and that it was out of character for him to leave home without telling others.

He is described as 6ft 3ins tall with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, shorts and swimming goggles, and was spotted on Monday morning in Clare Street in Cardiff, more than 100 miles from his home in Milford Haven.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Max suffers with poor mental health and we are very worried for his safety. It is very unlike him to go out without telling someone where he is.

“If you think you have seen Max, please get in touch straight away.”

Anyone with any information about Mr Self’s whereabouts is asked to get in touch with police by e-mailing contactcentre@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101.
