Urgent 999 police appeal as man goes missing from home

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to find a missing man from Manchester.

The man, named only as Michael, was last seen at around 7.15pm last night (Thursday). He was spotted heading towards Moss Lane East in Moss Side, police said.

He is described as being 5ft 10in tall and of slim build. He has shoulder-length hair with red dye at the ends.

Anyone with information on Michael's whereabouts should call 999. A post on Greater Manchester Police's Twitter page said: "MISSING | Can you help find Michael from #Manchester? Michael was last seen heading towards Moss Lane East in Moss Side at 7:15pm on 15/6/2023.

"Officers want to make sure they are safe and well. Anyone with information about Michael’s whereabouts should contact police on 999."
