After a spate of excellent singles, Plastic Little's UK debut arrives so late they've been blindsided by the Cool Kids, another rap act hooked on frat-rap era Beastie Boys. But the Philly crew aren't peddling simple nostalgia, peppering their samples with electronics inspired by the likes of Diplo. At their worst they sound like a Road Trip soundtrack; at their best they're a pop gun held to the head of hip hop's hardcore.
