An urban explorer was left stunned to find a voodoo doll in a house which had been abandoned for 35 years.
Nicknamed "Grandma House " for its loving mementoes left behind, the home photographer and paranormal investigator Chelsey Lacelle stumbled upon was extremely well hidden in the back roads of Nova Scotia, Canada.
After receiving a tip from a fellow urban explorer, the 25-year-old was intrigued to find out more.
She ended up capturing the chilling scenes on her camera, which she found scattered across the home.
But the explorer says she became the unwitting witness to the paranormal activity of ghostly children chanting.

Despite this, Chelsey ended up making the trip down to the house, saying: “You could drive by it ten-times and miss it every time because it was set back, and the driveway was covered by overgrown grass and trees."
Upon entering the spooky abode, the photographer said it was clear to see what era the home stopped being occupied.
She said: “This house has been abandoned since 1987, based on the calendar hanging up in one of the bedrooms.
“Homemade gifts were still hanging on the walls that said, ‘I love you Grandma.’
“It was eye opening in the sense that no one cared enough to come and clean up their Grandmas house or go through their belongings to give to family.”

What started off as an exploration of a dilapidated house then took a haunting turn upon Chelsey's investigation into the attic.
Chelsey explained, saying: “Everything seemed like a sweet and innocent house until we looked in the attic and found the Voodoo Doll.
“There were no signs around the house of this Grandma practising Voodoo or any spiritual practices, but everyone has secrets.”
At the time of her adventure, Chelsey was using a spirit box to contact paranormal forces, which she says directed her and her team towards an open attic.
And upon entering the dark and creepy space, the paranormal investigator was met with a doll.

She said: “The spirit box that we were using kept saying ‘up’.
“It was stuffed and wrapped in burlap with burn marks and cuts all over it.
“Once it was moved the activity in the house started to pick up and noises were coming from every direction, footsteps and heard doors slam."
Chelsey admitted that she felt uneasy, saying: “I actually started to feel very sick and had to take some time to sit down on the couch to collect myself."
While they were still in the house, what came next was a complete shock.
She said: “We even had someone message us about hearing children inside the house chanting, but there was no children there.
“We quickly put the doll back where we found it and closed up the attic so no one else would find it.”
