Urban Decay is launching a brand new golden Naked Honey Palette

After what feels like a lifetime of waiting, Urban Decay has finally released a brand new Naked Palette, and it might just be the prettiest one yet.

The 12-shade palette features a series of different colours, including golds, ambers, chocolate browns and dusky pinks – all of which are, of course, well-pigmented.

Describing the new palette, a spokesperson for Urban Decay said: "12 all-new, golden neutrals that include classic golds, warm ambers, and rich chocolate browns.

“Reach for our go-to shade Amber (it practically glows), create the perfect hazy, smoked-out eye with Sting (warm brown matte), or get hooked on Honey (intense gold metallic) for the ultimate ’70s statement eye.”

The new Naked Honey palette has been made with the same formula as its predecessors, meaning each shade is pigmented, long-wearing and easy to blend.

The original Naked Palette was launched back in 2010, and quickly became a cult product amongst beauty fans.

Since then, Urban Decay has released several variations of the palette, including the 'Naked Reloaded', 'Naked Heat' and 'Naked Cherry' versions.

Uproar was caused in 2018 when the make-up giant revealed that it would be discontinuing the original.

In a statement, Urban Decay's founding partner Wende Zomnir said: "Saying goodbye to Naked is extremely bittersweet.

"It was a big moment in our history. It’s a little painful to leave your past behind, but it’s also essential to always evolve. I will forever miss Naked, but we plan to turn the grief into even more greatness. Urban Decay will continue to thrive in Naked's memory and honor — just wait and see."

With the arrival of the Honey Palette, it looks like Zomnir's sticking to that promise.

The Naked Honey Palette  is set to go on sale on Urban Decay’s website from September 13, and will cost £42.
