Upset Corrie fans are all saying the same thing after Kelly Neelan's sentencing

Coronation Street fans were told the fate of Kelly Neelan after she was recently found guilty of Seb Franklin's brutal murder.

In Wednesday night's double bill there were tears in court as the teenager was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 15 years.

Her foster carer and solicitor Imran Habeeb, played by Charlie De Melo, told the court how Kelly’s father Rick was responsible for the death of his sister Rana and that her mum Laura would neglect Kelly.

He also urged the court to take Kelly’s fragile mental health into consideration after she attempted to take her own life following the murder trial.

But the judge said Kelly, played by Millie Gibson, had set out to brutally attack and kill Seb, played by Harry Visinoni.

She said: "On the charge of murder, I sentence you, Kelly Neelan, to life imprisonment, with a minimum of 15 years to be served."

A tearful Imran turned to Kelly and said 'sorry' as she took in the devastating news.

Upset soap watchers flocked to Twitter to have their say, and they made the point that it's bully Corey Brent who deserves to get his comeuppance after he framed Kelly for the murder.

"Omg 15 years up to life in prison??? Corey needs to be sent down immediately," said one fan.

"I’m sorry but i just cannot wrap my head around Kelly going down for life what Corey has done, LIFE???? excuse me?? they better fix it immediately," demanded another.

"What?! Kelly didn't do it. I feel sorry for her. 15 years imprisonment," exclaimed another.

"Life imprisonment for Kelly Corey should be in for life," raged another.

And another fumed: "Corey better get found out I beg."

And hopefully their wish will come true.

Recently Kelly Neelan was spotted out of prison and having an emotional meeting with Seb's girlfriend Nina Lucas as new soap scenes were filmed.

Corrie travelled just 20 yards away from their Trafford Wharf studios to film Kelly, who appeared to be having an animated chat with Nina over coffee, until they spotted that police were watching them.

Kelly was put behind bars awaiting sentencing while Corey, played by Maximus Evans, walked free from the court.

The pair were both on trial for murder following the vile attack on Seb and Nina as they were walking home.

In dramatic flashback scenes Nina remembered that Corey was soley responsible for kicking Seb as Kelly tried to hold him back, but her story was discounted in court by barrister Sabeen Habeeb.
