The Union Public Service Commission has officially published the UPSC Exam Calendar 2027 released update on its official website, giving aspirants across India a detailed roadmap for the upcoming examination cycle.
The newly announced schedule includes important dates for major recruitment examinations such as Civil Services, NDA, CDS, Engineering Services, CAPF, CMS and several other competitive exams conducted by UPSC every year.
The release of the UPSC Exam Calendar 2027 released notification is expected to help lakhs of candidates plan their preparation strategy well in advance for one of India’s toughest recruitment processes.
Civil Services Prelims and Mains 2027 Dates Confirmed
As per the UPSC Exam Calendar 2027 released schedule, the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2027 will be conducted on May 23, 2027. Meanwhile, the Civil Services Main Examination 2027 is scheduled to begin on August 20, 2027, and will continue for five days.
UPSC has also confirmed that the official notification for the Civil Services Examination will be issued on January 13, 2027. Candidates interested in applying will be able to complete the registration process until February 2, 2027.
The Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination, which is conducted through the Civil Services Preliminary Examination, will also take place on the same day.
