Police have closed a section of the Upper Newtownards Road after a suspicious object was found.
The PSNI are currently in attendance at a security alert in Dundonald and have cordoned off a section of the road between Stoney Road and Comber Road.
Diversions have been put in place, but police are telling drivers to expect delays.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The Upper Newtownards Road in Dundonald has been closed in both directions between Stoney Road and Comber Road following the discovery of a suspicious object at premises in the area.
"Diversions are in place however delays are expected.
"There are no further details at present."
