A serious crash near Wetherby racecourse means police have closed the road.

West Yorkshire Police are currently on the scene of the crash near the roundabout where York Road meets the B1224.

Police have confirmed that the crash involves a vehicle and some pedestrians.

The road is likely to remain closed for quite some time while police carry out their investigations.
