Nov. 19--An even bigger turkey-testicle event will take place in the far northwestern suburbs. Parkside Pub (11721 E. Main St., Huntley, 847-669-8496) will hold its annual Turkey Testicle Festival, an all-day affair under a massive tent, next Wednesday. This event draws people from miles around; Parkside went through more than 1,200 pounds of deep-fried turkey testicles ($5 per order) last year. Also on the menu are beef sandwiches, sausage sandwiches and pizza by the slice, as well as plenty of adult beverages (must be at least 21 to attend). Live music by Wish List, Suburban Cowboys, Too White Crew and Modern Day Romeos. Check out the pub's website for tickets and more information.

Previously: The 5th edition of the Turkey Testicle Festival is taking place at the Streeterville Timothy O'Toole's (622 N. Fairbanks Court, 312-642-0700) on Nov. 26, the day before Thanksgiving. No, we're not highlighting this for cheap testicle laughs (although the pub will be serving a deep fried Bucket of Balls for $7).
