If you go all the way to the end of the regular season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been very busy. In total, the Steelers have added 19 guys to the roster via futures and free-agent contracts. Moncrief is now on his third jersey number since his days at Ole Miss. Moncrief has worn No. 10 in the NFL but opted for No. 11 with the Steelers since Ryan Switzer has it. Moncrief could have opted for No. 12, which he wore in college as it is unclaimed on the Steelers’ roster.
Nelson switched from No. 20 to No. 22 with the Steelers. That number is currently being used by cornerback Cam Sutton. Nelson actually wore No. 2 which he was at Oregon State.
