Updated New Orleans Saints injury report before Week 1 vs. Texans

The New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans updated their initial injury reports on Friday, Sept. 6, with just a few days left to prepare for their Week 1 kickoff in the first Monday Night Football game of the regular season.

With multiple starters like Saints linebacker Alex Anzalone and Texans safety Justin Reid managing injuries, both teams will need all hands on deck. Other critical backups like Saints defensive tackle Mario Edwards Jr. and Texans wide receiver Keke Coutee could make a tangible impact, depending on their availability.
