Stores across England have updated their rules this week as the final lockdown restrictions eased.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed the nation last week to confirm that, from July 19, all lockdown restrictions would ease - including the legal requirement to wear a face mask indoors.
This means that people no longer have to wear face masks or socially distance themselves from others.

However, despite the easing of restrictions and removal of legal requirements, supermarkets and shops may choose to have their own rules in place, so it's important to check before visiting.

But what about your favourite bargain stores? We’ve taken a look at them for you below:
Home Bargains
The retailer has not issued an official update on whether it will encourage face masks to be worn.
It’s website continues to advise people to wear a mask instore, though it is likely that this has not been updated and that the retailer will follow Government advice.
Poundland
In the run up to ‘Freedom Day’ Poundland was praised for its stance on face masks and social distancing.
The bargain retailer told customers that “it's not over” ahead of July 19.
A sign in a Poundland shop window gained momentum after it was shared on Twitter.
It says: “Like you, we know it’s not over. So help us help you by wearing a face covering, keeping a safe distance, sanitising your hands, being kind and respectful. Shop smart, stay safe.”
B&M
Bargain retailer B&M hasn't confirmed if it will still encourage shoppers in England to wear face masks.
However, it is likely you may still be asked to wear a covering if you're not exempt.
Shop entrances are likely to still have hand sanitiser stations as well, and till points will have plastic screens still installed.
The Range
In a post on Facebook, The Range confirmed it will “continue to trade in a safe and responsible way” and therefore continue to “recommend” face masks.
The full post said: “Let’s keep protecting each other. We will continue to trade in a safe and responsible way, and therefore we are still asking you, our staff and customers to follow the Hands, Face, Space recommendations given by the Government.
“For more guidance please visit: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/. Thank you for your continuous support”.
Alongside this, the retailer posted a photo which said customers should wash and sanitise their hands when required, respect each other’s space and that face coverings are recommended in store.
Wilko
Similarly, Wilko has yet to update its rules following the July 19 changes. But if it follows other retailers, it is likely you may still be asked to wear a covering if you're not exempt to help everyone feel safe.
B&Q
DIY store B&Q also shared its updated rules on Facebook. The retailer wrote: “As the guidance on social distancing continues to change, shopping safely remains our priority.
“We’re taking a consistent view across all our UK stores and are asking customers to continue wearing a face covering (unless they’re exempt) when visiting our stores.
“We’re keeping our social distancing measures in place to help customers to shop safely.”
