Updated bus timetables as Diamond North West announce cancelled services and heavily-reduced routes

Diamond North West has completely stopped two of its services and announced a heavily-reduced schedule for some of its other routes.

Earlier this week, Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) warned of reduced services across its public transport network.

The X8 (Bolton to Piccadilly Gardens) and X39 (Farnworth to Piccadilly Gardens) have been cancelled until further notice.

While other popular services will be much less regular, from Monday March 23rd, when the changes are due to come into effect.

Saturday services will also be affected, including the 575 (Bolton to Horwich) route:

A spokesman for Diamond Buses said: "Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Diamond Bus North West have made changes to our services to help you get around as quickly and safely as possible.

"As of Monday 23rd March our X8 and X39 services will not run until further notice.

"All other routes, the timetables will stay as they are currently.

"Diamond Bus North West may make further changes to timetables following Government guidelines."
