UPDATE: Train line between Balloch and Renton reopens

The train line between Balloch and Renton is open again after passengers were held up due to trespassers on the line.

Rail staff had earlier "taken possession of the line" in order to let emergency services attend.

ScotRail have now confirmed the line has reopened with a spokesperson adding: "Thanks to emergency services and railway staff on site for their quick work to get trains running again."

Alexandria lorry driver dies in road crash

Services had been terminating at Dumbarton Central during the disruption.
