A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said there was a plan in place to safely remove one person who was 'medically trapped' inside the minibus and was receiving pain relief from paramedics at the scene.
In an update on Monday afternoon, the fire service confirmed the person was removed from the vehicle and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
The spokesman continued: "A multi-agency debrief has taken place at scene and crews made up equipment and left the scene at 11.14am. Scene handed over the Merseyside Police."

The North West Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the RTC and two people have been taken to hospital with "lower limb injuries".
Merseyside Police said shortly before 9.10am a patrol came across an RTC involving a Mercedes and a Ford Transit minibus.
The female driver of the minibus was rescued from the vehicle by fire crews and patrols remain at the scene.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area while the road remained blocked.
