A south Liverpool health centre was forced to close after a patient presented coronavirus symptoms.
A spokesperson from NHS Liverpool CCG said: “Belle Vale Medical Practice has notified us that they have temporarily closed today due to a patient presenting with symptoms of coronavirus.
"The case has not yet been confirmed, but the practice has followed all of the correct guidance from Public Health England in making this decision.
"The practice will reopen as soon as a deep clean has been completed on the premises.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. Our first priority is make sure there is no risk to staff and patients.”

Staff and patients were reportedly forced to stay inside the surgery for two hours until medical checks and tests were carried out.
One man told the ECHO he saw people 'legging it' away from the surgery before it was officially closed and locked down.
One man said: "Man nan went for an appointment today and she was told that she could not leave due to scare over Coronavirus. She was in there for about two hours.
"At one point they offered them all tea and sanwiches.
"My nan is out now and ok. She said staff were wiping the place down."
