Part of the Lisburn Road has been reopened following a fire at a property in the area.
The road had been closed between Shaftesbury Square and Fountainville Avenue.
Police released a statement on the incident earlier this morning that said:
"The Lisburn Road, Belfast is closed between Shaftesbury Square and Fountainville Avenue, following a fire at residential premises in the area this morning (Thursday 16 th July).
"The fire has been extinguished and there are no reports of any injuries at this time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main routes for their journey."
