Update: Jenny buys Donnie consolation prize before move to St. Charles

July 25--St. Charles took a back seat in this week's episode of "Donnie Loves Jenny", as Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny McCarthy and her son, Evan Asher, pack up the Los Angeles house that Wahlberg bought in 2008 to share with his two sons after his divorce from actress Kim Fey.

"I'm sure they'll be happy visiting St. Charles," Wahlberg assures McCarthy after describing how he built memories in the house with Xavier Alexander Wahlberg, now 22, and his 14-year-old brother Elijah Hendrix Wahlberg. "It's time to let go of my little safe place."

"It's time for us to build a new one together," McCarthy replies.

McCarthy and Evan take time from packing to buy Wahlberg consolation presents: toys from 13-year-old Evan and exotic lingerie from McCarthy. Evan is not present when his mother, a former Playboy centerfold model, tries on a dominatrix catsuit as her sister, Joanne McCarthy, eggs her on.

Meanwhile, Wahlberg and his personal assistant, identified only as Johnny, find the two American Music Award plaques Wahlberg won in 1990 as a member of New Kids on the Block, as well as several framed platinum records and microphone-shaped award trophies, while emptying a public storage unit. When Johnny tries to talk Wahlberg into selling the mementos, his boss puts his foot down.

"I am not putting them on eBay," Wahlberg asserts. "The only place I'm going to put them is on the walls of my new house."

The next episode will bring McCarthy back to the Chicago area for a doctor's appointment while Wahlberg goes on tour with the reunited New Kids on the Block, according to TV Guide magazine's "Donnie Loves Jenny" web page, http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/donnie-loves-jenny/episodes/722014/. On Aug. 5, the fourth episode will show McCarthy redecorating their St. Charles home, the web page reports.
