Upcoming West Lothian band Static Satellites announce they are set to release their debut EP

After the success of their last single Static Satellites are set to release their debut EP.

The lads were nominated for Scottish song of the year for their tune Fortify and are hoping the EP is as well received.

Recorded and produced by Mark Morrow in his Edinburgh studio, the band started recording the EP back in late 2019 but were forced to stop due to lockdown in early 2020.

This meant it wasn’t until September 2020 when recording was finally completed.

The Dark Unfolds EP kicks off with the pounding and irresistible beat of Fortify before instantly moving on to the indie pop track Smokescreens, which will be released as a surprise track on Friday April 9.

The EP concludes with previously unreleased track By The Way which draws the listener in with a compelling and captivating cacophony of noise which brings the EP to a chaotic close.

Their signature deep rich vocals and catchy indie melodies have led them to playing in venues across Scotland including a headline show at the famous Glasgow King Tut’s, as well as slots supporting Red Rum Club, Luke La Volpe and Voodoo Bandits.
