Etah: A woman allegedly committed suicide in a village here after she had an argument with her husband, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Ranjana (27). She was living with her parents in Nagla Bupaal village here after she had a dispute with her husband, they said.
Ranjana had an argument with her husband Jaggesh over phone on Monday night, following which she hanged herself, the police said.
Station House Officer, Malawan, Pankaj Mishra said the police are probing the matter and trying to ascertain the reason behind Ranjana's extreme step.
The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, the police said.(PTI)
