The number of commercial agency and professional licenses issued during the Q3 of last year 2020 reached 661, according to statistical data of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
This marked an increase of 113.2 per cent compared to the same period of 2019.
The Ministry’s Statistics Department revealed that the total number included 336 renewed commercial agencies, 218 new commercial agencies, 15 modernized or modified commercial agencies, 11 cancelled commercial agencies and 81 professional licenses.
The Ministry said that the investors, companies and SMEs can apply for commercial agency services through the electronic portal "Invest Easy" or through Sanad offices in order to make the process of registration and their follow up of transactions easy.
