UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University to hold exams from August 2

PRAYAGRAJ: UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) would be holding its examinations from August 2 till September 14 at 139 centers across the state. These examination centers also include 8 central jails of the state. Around 60,000 candidates will appear in the examination. Giving this information on Saturday, Vice- chancellor Professor Seema Singh said that the examinations of certificate, diploma and PG diploma will be held from August 2 to 8 in three shifts (7am to 10am, 11am to 2pm and 3pm to 6pm). Apart from this, graduation and post-graduation and remaining examinations will be held from August 10 to September 14 in two shifts (9am to 12 noon and 1pm to 4pm). She said that the admit cards of all the subjects have been made online which can be downloaded by the candidates. She added that the university is continuously making efforts for imparting education to the jail inmates. This time the examination will be conducted for the jail inmates in 8 central jails of the state, including Prayagraj, Agra, Azamgarh, Ghaziabad, Ayodhya, Bareilly, Meerut and Fatehpur Central Jail across state. She said that special arrangements have been made for the successful conduct of the examination in a transparent manner. tnn
