AGRA: A 25-year-old field officer of a private bank, Shivam Sharma, was shot at by unidentified assailants late on Monday evening when he was returning home to Gazipur village under Basai Mohammadpur police station in Firozabad district. He died later, on the way to SN Medical hospital in Agra.
After examining CCTV footage in the area, police said Sharma was on a bike alone and was going home when the attackers opened fire on him from behind in Khanjapur village under Rasulpur police station area. One bullet hit him in the shoulder, throwing him off the bike.
Sharma’s uncle, Rajveer Sharma, said, “Shivam got the job last month. He was married and had a two-month old daughter. Our family has no enmity with anyone.”
