GORAKHPUR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda in Deoria on Tuesday attacked the SP, saying that "if it come in power, Akhilesh will protect terrorists".

"When Akhilesh was CM, people had to migrate from Kairana and they say that terrorism is no issue. Akhilesh as chief minister freed terrorists accused in Ayodhaya and Varanasi bomb blasts. He is not a saviour but a devourer (Voh Rakshak nahin bhakshak hai) and if SP comes in power Akhilesh Yadav will protect terrorists," said Nadda.
"During Akhilesh's regime, there was firing on CRPF camp in which 7 jawans were martyred and recently Santosh Yadav of Rudrapur was martyred," he said, asking, "Do you all want to shelter terrorists or give them befitting reply." "Akhilesh is lowering the morale of police by calling them as police ai police. We are contesting on such issues." Nadda said asking people if terrorism was an issue or not. Pointing at the difference between the SP's and BJP's regime, he said that during Akhilesh's regime Azam, Atique and Mukhtar were powerful while in Yogi ji's regime they are in jail.
Enumerating the achievements of the government, he said, "Yogi ended Mafia raj in UP and took the economy to second position in the country. If you vote for the BJP, the economy will reach number one in the country. Anti-terrorists commando centres will be opened at places like Deoband, Bahraich, Kanpur, Meerut. Understand the power of your vote and elect the right person to get the right picture of the country," said Nadda.
