LUCKNOW: On the eve of the first phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh, chief minister Yogi Adityanath urged the voters to make their “big decision” wisely as a small mistake “can make UP the next Kashmir, Kerala or Bengal”.
In a video message, the CM said, “Time has come to take the big decision. Whatever the double-engine government of the BJP has done in the last five years, it has been done with full commitment and conviction. Whatever the party said, we fulfilled it, honouring your trust in us.”
“You have seen it all and by the time elections came, you have heard everything,” Yogi said.
"Today, I want to share my feelings with you. Many historic developments have taken place in the last five years. Beware, if you make a wrong decision, the work done in five years will be futile and UP will become another Kashmir, Bengal and Kerala within no time,” he said.
“Your vote will not only be your blessings for my ‘tapasya’ (hard work), it will also be the guarantee of a fear-free society for you,” he said, signing off with ‘Jai Sri Ram’.
