Detectives are appealing for information as they investigate a spate of suspicious fires that have destroyed vehicles and damaged property in the Upper Hunter.
Police and firefighters have been called to several blazes in Muswellbrook this month, a NSW Police spokesperson said.
Detectives believe the incidents may be linked and are treating the fires as suspicious as the investigation continues.
Emergency services were first called to a vehicle fire on Carl Street about 2.30am on June 6. The flames damaged the bonnet and engine block.
About the same time two days later, on June 8, emergency services responded to reports that a caravan cover was alight on Roger Street. The caravan was not damaged, but the cover was destroyed.
On June 11, emergency services were called to Bridge Street about 2am after reports a fire had broken out in a shopping trolley. The exterior of the nearby building was left with a burn mark as a result.
Emergency services were again called two days later, about 1.20am on June 13, to reports three vehicles had been set on fire on Cook, Newman and George streets. All vehicles were extensively damaged and could not be driven.

Police said they had not been made aware of any injuries due to the fires.
