Maharajganj: Due to lack of water and irrigation resources, the farmers of Dhani area looked for a new option of farming for their livelhood--cultivation of Boro paddy.

Boro paddy is considered good for health and brings good returns also. That's why these farmers started cultivating Boro paddy.

But for two years, the paddy yield has been very poor which has landed these farmers in great trouble.

The farmers told the Dynamite News that they started cultivating Boro paddy a few years back as an alternative farming near Ghogi Nala. But due to low yields for two years, these farmers are facing a great crisis.

While talking to Dynamite News Bhagirathi, a farmer, told that the cultivation of Boro paddy is quite difficult. If the yield is  good, there is a lot of profit. But in the last 2 years the yield has been quite poor. Therefore the farmers are very upset.

Now the farmers hope the government would give them some incentive so that they could continue with this Boro paddy farming.
