Maharajganj: Defying the Anti Romeo Squad to ensure the security and safety of women and girls in the state, a paramilitary jawan has been harassing regularly a minor girl studying in ninth class in a private school.
The jawan has been stalking her almost daily and passing indecent comments as the girl travels the distance from home to school on a snooty.
So much so, that on Wednesday, this unruly jawan barged into the girl’s house and created a ruckus.
After the much uproar in the matter, the police was constrained to register an FIR No.143/2022 under Sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 354 D (Stalking)
However, the accused jawan is still roaming free.
