UP board exams made a ‘scheme’ to reduce age in certificate

AGRA: Cases of students aged above 20 years appearing in the UP Board exam have surfaced in Agra. As high school certificate is considered final proof of age, these candidates have been forging documents to show their age 10 years lower than the original.

Joint director (secondary education) Mukesh Agarwal said, “The district inspector has been directed to issue a notice to schools which enrolled students to reappear in exams. The matter will be investigated.”
