LUCKNOW: Out of 4,018 booths in the city, 2,438 will have live webcast facility for security and monitoring purpose. Through live webcast, ECI will ensure safe polling in booths.

Live webcast will be reviewed by the district electoral officer, chief electoral officer and the Election Commission of India. A control room has been setup in the district collectorate which has nine big televisions for display of webcasting.
Police teams have been assigned the task of drone usage for security review in polling stations and around the area of polling stations.
Meanwhile, in a span of 45 days since the moral code of conduct was enforced in the city, police and district administration have seized Rs 1.74 crore, along with 4,320 litre liquor.
ADCP, election cell, Digambar Kushwaha said police also recovered fake currency worth Rs 82,000 from different parts of the city.
