Rising stars Fontaines D.C. have been forced to cancel a string of European festival shows due to ill health.
The Dublin five-piece have earned rave reviews for their live shows, including a well-received appearance at Glastonbury.
The band released their debut album, Dogrel, in April of this year to critical acclaim.
They took to social media to announce the news earlier today.
A statement read: "This message is difficult to communicate to all of you.
"Due to health issues we find ourselves in the uncomfortable position of having to cancel the following festivals: Paleo Festival Nyon (CH), Truck Festival (UK), Deer Shed Festival (UK), Y Not Festival (UK) and Thing Festival (USA).
"We want to make sure that everyone knows that performing is one of the most important and fulfilling parts of all our lives, and so we will do all in our power to ensure that none of our tours are affected by this.
"We apologise to all of you who were looking forward to attending these festivals.
"We look forward to seeing at all the remaining dates this summer.
All of our love and appreciation, Fontaines D.C."
