MORADABAD: To strengthen the health infrastructure in Sambhal district, 12 new health centres – nine wellness centres and three primary health centres-- will be opened in urban areas under the National Urban Health Mission, said Sanjeev Kumar Rathor, district programme manager.
One health wellness centre will be established in each municipal area -- Sambhal, Chandausi, Bahjoi, Sirsi, Gawan, Babrala, Gunnaur, Naroli -- while one health wellness centre will be opened in the main city which has more population.
Two urban primary health centers will be set up in Sambhal and one in Chandausi. There are already two health centres operating in these cities.
