'Unusual' intruders spotted on Bolton estate in the middle of the night

Usually if you see a dark, mysterious figure outside your house at midnight, you'd probably call the police.

But last night, one Bolton street had intruders of a completely different kind.

Bailey Hughes-Elias was at home in Belmont Road when his brother rang him, to tell him to look out of his window.

To his surprise, when he did, he saw a herd of deer making their way through his garden into the street.

Bailey said: "It's very unusual.

"It was exactly midnight and my brother was in the garage but he rang me, to tell me that about 10 to 15 deer had ran between his car and my girlfriend's up onto our garden outside my house.

"I was like, 'right, sound, okay', but he wasn't lying!"

Bailey also shared two videos to Facebook and joked: "Group of youths all dressed in dark clothing, scoping houses around Belmont road at 12am."

One of the videos shows around eight deer running away as Bailey walks towards them. The other captioned 'can anyone offer me an explanation' shows two deer in his garden appearing behind a car, before running to join the other deer in the street.
