There will be a mixture of clear skies and showers this week, as unsettled weather continues.
The Met Office reports that there'll be plenty of autumnal conditions with mist, fog and outbreaks of rain over the next few days. Today, on Thursday, October 13, it will be a chilly start but there will be some good spells of sunshine into the afternoon.
Temperatures are near average for this time of year, predicted to hit a maximum of 15C. Into the evening the dry weather will continue but there may be outbreaks of rain coming in from the northwest overnight.

On Friday the weekend will start largely bright across the south, but showery rain further north. The leads to a changeable and blustery weekend ahead with scattered heavy showers on Saturday. Fewer showers on Sunday with sunny spells, before wind and rain moves in overnight into Monday.
The BBC weather outlook for Liverpool reads: "Saturday will be unsettled and breezy as outbreaks of heavy rain sweep in from the south-west, these turning into blustery showers through the day. Sunday will see a few heavy showers during the morning but sunshine will develop in the afternoon.
"Breezy Monday is likely to see heavy rain in the early morning. Cloud will break later and long sunny spells will develop."
