Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh and his family stayed in focus on Tuesday. The actor got married to girlfriend Madalsa Sharma, who acts in south Indian films, on Tuesday at his father’s plush hotel in Ooty. The wedding was strictly a private affair with only family and close friends in attendance.
Days before the wedding, a Bhojpuri actor filed a rape complaint against Mimoh. Her report also mentioned that the mother of the accused, Yogeeta Bali, had warned her of dire consequences if she did not leave Mimoh alone. In her complaint, the actor said that Mimoh had cheated her and raped her for four years after a promise of marriage. The mother and son were later granted an anticipatory bail by a Delhi court.
According to a report in Mid Day, the wedding was initially scheduled to take place on July 7 but had to be postponed to July 10, after the court complaint.
Madalsa is the daughter of popular character actor Sheela Sharma and filmmaker Subhash Sharma. Mimoh, eldest child of Mithun and Yogeeta, has a brother and sister.
