Recently dumped Love Island star Sharon Gaffka career in a Didcot branch of McDonald’s has been revealed.
The civil servant from Oxford usually works as the operations lead for the Department of Transport – but in an unearthed photo, the 25-year-old proved she’s just like us with her former weekend job.
Sharon’s former cashier job came to light after a social media user shared a selfie taken by the star, who was clad in a McDonald’s green polo shirt and sported a name badge.
The caption poked fun at Sharon’s comment on the show about having “penchant for dating bankers” and standing out in her native Didcot, which 15miles south of Oxford.
The social media user wrote: “Sharon from Love Island saying she's only ever dated bankers or doctors. Don't forget your roots.
“And the comment 'I stand out in Didcot, I mean look at me'. Oh please! Look at all the work you've done to 'stand out'.”
The photo comes after Sharon admitted she is convinced that Hugo Hammond and AJ Bunker’s relationship isn’t going to work out.
Fans have been desperate to see PE teacher Hugo find love in the villa, after three weeks of him surviving on being in friendship couples.
In the latest recoupling, AJ said that she “saw a future” with the 24-year-old, choosing him as her other half for the foreseeable future.
But by doing so, she essentially sealed Sharon’s fate, who had been with him in a friendship couple, while the others around them formed romances.
Speaking after leaving the villa, Sharon reckons that things aren’t going to last between them.
"AJ got the text saying she was going to pick. I knew that if she chose Hugo, I was going home,” she said. “For me, picking Hugo felt like an easy option for her.
"She wasn’t treading on toes or potentially causing an argument with the girls as much as it would have if she picked Liam, because me and Hugo were in a friendship couple.
“I’ve said to him on multiple occasions that he needs to be more open minded because your 100% perfect girl may never walk through the door.
“I think he gave AJ that chance but I think there are qualities that Hugo really needs that aren’t there in AJ.”
Hugo was seen questioning AJ’s intentions shortly after the recoupling, confused as to why she decided to pick him over someone else.
AJ again stated that she found herself most comfortable around him, and that when trying to find someone, Hugo was the one that she could see a future with.
He accepted her decision and in a preview clip for Monday night’s episode, the couple share their first kiss in a game of Snog, Marry, Pie.
