Unseen George Michael concert footage to be released a decade after singer’s death

  • Previously unseen footage from George Michael's 1988 Faith Tour is set to be released in cinemas, a decade after his death.
  • The film, captured by 14 cameras on 35mm film during two nights at Paris’s Bercy Arena, has been newly restored and remastered.
  • Titled George Michael: The Faith Tour, the release will be accompanied by an 18-track live album and a short film by Mary McCartney.
  • The Faith album, released in 1987, was a massive success, earning a Grammy and leading to a 109-show world tour.
  • This cinematic release coincides with the 10th anniversary of George Michael's death on Christmas Day 2016.
