'Unrecogniseable' Charlotte Crosby's new hair leaves Instagram followers stunned

Charlotte Crosby looked almost unrecogniseable as she revealed a drastic change in hair style on Instagram.

The former Geordie Shore star left her millions of Instagram followers in shock as she showed off her much darker do to them all on Friday, having spent five hours in a County Durham salon to get her new look.

The reaction to her image overhaul has been huge. Geordie Shore co-star Aaron Chalmers' other half Talia Oatway commented: "Wow," while a fan responded: "You look like someone here and i cant figure out who it is," to which other followers suggested she bore more than a passing resemblance to friend and former co-star Marnie Simpson and another likened her to Hollywood actress Megan Fox.

Charlotte, 30, looked strikingly different to just 24 hours earlier and boyfriend Liam Beaumont was also quick to react, posting: "The darkside doing bits." Replying to his comment, one of Charlotte's followers reacted: "lock her up," to which videographer Liam joked: "I’ve tried... she keeps escaping."

It was another body part that grabbed other fans' attention, with a number pointing out her eyes, including one who replied: "Where do you get your contacts from eyes look amazing."

In a good week for Charlotte, she caught up with some Geordie Shore mates for a walk along the Quayside and also celebrated the fact that Sunderland topped a list of the most sexually active UK cities in lockdown.

Reacting to its triumph in the study carried out by lingerie brand Lovehoney, she said: "I always knew Mackems were the most passionate - now here’s the proof!

Charlotte Crosby reveals why the Geordie Shore lads made more money

"Ha’way the lads and lasses of Sunderland - they are proper canny!

“You’ve only got to look at the list of famous people who come from Sunderland to know that we have always punched massively above our weight as a city."
