Given Nottingham Forest’s propensity for making a managerial change, it won't come as a huge surprise to see why former Leeds United midfielder Michael Brown has taken a cheeky swipe at the Reds’ hierarchy.
Following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town, Forest now sit ninth in the Championship, without a win in their last five outings and pressure beginning to build after a bleak December thus far.
Losing in what turned out to be a tetchy encounter at the John Smith’s Stadium may not have been viewed too badly, had Forest not been thumped 4-0 at home by Sheffield Wednesday a week earlier, a game which saw thousands of fans leave early.

That came on the back of a disappointing draw at home to a poor Middlesbrough side having thrown away a late lead at Millwall just days earlier - form which has seen them drift 16 points behind leaders West Brom.
Despite their alarming slump, Brown believes Forest need to keep faith with Sabri Lamouchi, a manager that has proved popular both on the terraces and in the dressing room since his pre-season arrival, galvanising the Reds both on and off the pitch.
“You’re going to have to try and have a manager for a whole season,” Brown told EFL on Quest.
“This Forest board are unpredictable, as we know, they want to get into the playoffs but so does everyone else.
“You’ve got to understand the Championship is a difficult league, they’ve got some good players and he was a breath of fresh air when he came in.”
