Takumi Minamino scored Liverpool's opener in their second pre-season fixture against Bologna on Thursday evening.
Minamino was part of a heavily rotated side that lined up for the second game in Evian, with the side looking similar to what Jurgen Klopp could field against Norwich in nine days time.
But his performance, as well as his goal, seemed to attract the interest of many fans who believe he could start to repay some of Liverpool's outlay from December 2019.
Minamino connected cleanly with Xherdan's Shaqiri excellent clipped ball over the top of the Bologna defence - making it two goals in his last two pre-season appearances for Klopp's side.

Liverpool fans will all know all too well just how good the Japanese midfielder can be, after he lit up Anfield in October 2019 with his impressive performance and goal in Red Bull Salzburg's 4-3 defeat.
However, things just haven't appeared to click for him so far in the Premier League, as he has found it hard to dislodge Klopp's favoured attacking trio.
A spell on loan at Southampton in the second half of last season looked like it could give Minamino the kick-start he needed in England, but stand-out performances were few and far between on the south coast as he failed to get going.
