Unpaid work for man who threatened violence inside Wishaw hospital

A man who made threats of violence inside University Hospital Wishaw has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.

William Reilly appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week for sentencing having admitted behaving in a threatening manner at the hospital on October 27 last year.

On that date, Reilly began shouting, swearing and issuing threats.

The 43-year-old, of Thomson Avenue, Netherton, committed the offence while he was on bail.

Sheriff Linda Nicolson ordered Reilly to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work and put him on supervision for a year.
