Unpaid work for girl who scrapped in Ayrshire street

A woman who engaged in a scrap with another girl has been ordered to carry out unpaid work in the community.

Kelly Ann Carson, 40, of Wellbeck Crescent, Troon, appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court.

She admitted fighting with Linda Clark in Boydfield Gardens, Prestwick, on May 31 and committing a breach of the peace.

Defence solicitor John Gallagher said: “It’s been some time since she has been in trouble.”

But Sheriff Ross MacFarlane said: “It’s a rotten record.”

Carson was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the community, to be completed within the next three months.
