An unmarked police vehicle was vandalized Saturday in Belmont Heights on the Northwest Side.

About 7:30 a.m., an off-duty Chicago police K9 officer returned to his vehicle in the 3500 block of North Ozark Avenue and found it covered in anti-police slogans and gang graffiti, Chicago police said.

No one has been taken into custody, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
